1: Sale and Purchase

We will sell and you will purchase the products listed on our website subject to our terms and conditions of business set out below. The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us in accordance with these terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order via our Site does not constitute acceptance of an order.

2: Price

2.1: All prices are quoted in pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified.

2.2: All item prices are exclusive of delivery and packaging, unless otherwise stated.

2.3: Prices are correct at the time of order and relate to Internet purchases only. All orders for products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse to supply an individual or other organisation.

3: Discount Codes

3.1: Account discount codes - Discount codes may from time to time be offered to account holders; such codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered.

3.2: Promotional discount codes - We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made through this Website. The conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue. Unless it is not specified, the promotional code is valid for 12 months from date of issue.

4: Payment

Payment must be made in pounds Sterling only by major credit or debit cards as listed on the site. We can accept Dollars and Euros which are automatically calculated into Pounds Sterling during the payment process at the current market exchange rate. Alternative methods of payment may be available, please telephone us if you wish to pay by other means.

5: Passing of Property

The title of the goods does not pass to the customer until the full payment has been made by the customer, received by us and the goods delivered.

6: Passing of Risk

The risk in the products will pass to the customer on delivery, as set out in paragraph 6.3 below. The risk in this context is taken to mean any damage or cost arising as a result of the purchased products to either the purchaser, the purchasers property or to any other third party or property.

7: Delivery

7.1: Any date or time period for delivery will be considered as indicative only and does not form any part of a guarantee. The customer will be informed of any products not available at the time of their order and will be sent to you, as soon as possible, when received from our suppliers. We cannot be held responsible for losses or inconveniences caused as a result of delays in deliveries by us or our suppliers.

7.2: All products are sent by courier of our choice. All deliveries must be signed for upon receipt if required by the courier used.

7.3: On delivery of the goods the purchaser of the goods becomes responsible for any losses or damages arising as a result of their use however they may arise.

8: Acceptance

You will inspect any products within 24 hours of receipt and you will be deemed to have accepted the products unless during the period which commences on the day the contract between us comes into existence and ends on the expiry of fourteen days beginning on the day after delivery of the products you notify us in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 10.2 or paragraph 10.3 below that the products are rejected or that you want to cancel your order pursuant to paragraph 8 below. If no such action is taken, we will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purposes, and may not accept any rejection of cancellation at a later day.Your statutory customer rights are not affected.

9: Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your contract with us at any time during the period which commences on the day the contract comes into existence and ends on the expiry of fourteen days beginning on the day after the date of delivery of the products.

10: Returns Procedure

10.1: If products are to be rejected or your order is to be cancelled pursuant to paragraphs 7 or 8 above, you will comply with the returns procedure as set out in this paragraph 9. In such circumstances we will accept any returned products should the return be complete and with a valid proof of purchase and in the case of an order which you wish to cancel, should the return be in a re-saleable condition.

10.2: You can contact us in person or by post, facsimile, telephone, or email at the address or number (as the case may be) set out on our Contacts page, with details of your original order number and receipt. You must pay the return postage charges.

10.3: Alternatively you can return your purchase to us via your local Post Office. If you decide to use your local Post Office, please ensure the Post Office provides you with a proof of posting.

10.4: You will receive a full refund of the purchase price which will be credited to your credit card or debit card. Faulty or damaged products must be returned before the refund can be issued.

10.5: In cases where the rejection or cancellation is due to a defect or discrepancy in the order, you will not be responsible for the return delivery charge referred to in paragraph 10.2. When the return arrives back at our office it will be assessed and should it be concluded that the products are faulty or that there was a discrepancy in the order, the return delivery charge will be credited back to you.

11: General

11.1: If any part or parts of these terms and conditions are deemed invalid, void or unenforceable, then that part or those parts will be considered severable from these terms and conditions thereby not preventing the remainder from being enforceable or effective.

11.2: These terms and conditions may be revised at any time and we reserve the right to do so. You are, therefore, advised to keep up to date with the contents of these terms and conditions as revisions are binding upon you.

11.3: Nothing in these and conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizen's Advice Bureau.

12: Ethical Sourcing Policy

As a reputable and trusted business committed to offering its customers high quality products, Love Those Flip Flops recognises its obligation to ensure that suppliers are operating ethically.

We expect our suppliers to consistently provide an environment which protects their employees' health and safety and basic human rights.

All suppliers are expected to comply with their national employment laws and regulations with particular regard to:

  • Minimum age of employment
  • Freely chosen employment
  • Health and safety
  • Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
  • No discrimination
  • No harsh or inhumane treatment
  • Working hours
  • Rates of pay
  • Terms of employment

Love Those Flip Flops will never knowingly source stock from countries which are in breach of the above principles. We also look to our suppliers to instill these principles when dealing with their own supplier base.

Because of the sometimes complex nature of our suppliers' supply chain, it is not always possible to monitor and control the conditions of each individual involved in the production of our products. However, as Love Those Flip Flops continues to grow it recognises the importance of being proactive and doing everything within its power to support the rights of those involved in the manufacture of its goods.

13: Linking to this Website

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you.

This Website must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of this Website other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

14: Disclaimer as to ownership of trade marks, images of personalities and third party copyright

Except where expressly stated to the contrary all persons (including their names and images), third party trade marks and images of third party products, services and/or locations featured on this Website are in no way associated, linked or affiliated with Love Those Flip Flops and you should not rely on the existence of such a connection or affiliation. Any trade marks/names featured on this Website are owned by the respective trade mark owners. Where a trade mark or brand name is referred to it is used solely to describe or identify the products and services and is in no way an assertion that such products or services are endorsed by or connected to Love Those Flip Flops.

15: Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Love Those Flip Flops, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use this Website or your breach of the Terms of Service.

16: Governing Law

Your use of this Site and any purchase by you on this Site of any products will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in mainland United Kingdom.
